His career went from 1908 to 1922, also known as the dead ball era. Home runs were a rare thing, in fact Baker led the league in 1914 with a rather modest 9 round trippers. Don't let the numbers fool you though. No further proof of Frank Baker's greatness are the words of all time great pitcher Walter Johnson who called him "the most dangerous hitter I ever faced."
