What a career Johnny Mize had. He was such a star in the 5 years he spent with the Cardinals that he was chosen as one of the charter members of the team's Hall of Fame, went on to some great years with the New York Giants including one where he became the only player in history to hit 50 home runs while striking out less than 50 times. Then he capped things off with a five year stint with the Yankees when they won, you guessed it, five World Series. He is another of those greats that gave up three years in his prime for military service but still put up numbers that landed him in Cooperstown. Maybe "The Big Cat" had a lion or cougar in his sights when he took up this dugout pose.
