Strong Like Mule

He was a soft spoken and gentle man, but don't let that fool you. One of the most feared power hitters in baseball history, Mule Suttles would walk up to the plate with his 50 ounce bat and put the fear of god into the pitcher. He had the second most home runs in Negro League history, many of which were of the foot plus variety. One of the best parts of painting every member of the Hall of Fame was learning about the history of the Negro Leagues and their legendary players. What would the MLB record books look like if they had been welcomed in to the league during their primes?

George "Mule" Suttles
