Nobody had a career that covered more baseball jobs than Joe Cronin. He was a big league player with a .301 career average and over 2,200 hits. As a manager he racked up more than 1,200 wins. He held several jobs with the Red Sox front office including treasurer, VP, and General Manager. Then to cap things off he became the President of the American League. When I was creating my collection of paintings of all the Hall of Famers I tried to portray many aspects of the great game. Seeing Joe argue with an umpire always makes me chuckle inside. It has a great place on my wall.
