We all remember Reggie Jackson's 3 home runs in Game 6 of the 1977 World Series, one of the great moments in baseball history. The story gets even more impressive when you dig into it a bit more. In his first at bat in Game 6 he walked on 4 pitches. In his last at bat in Game 5 he hit, you guessed it, a home run. Four swings, 4 homers! He hit 563 dingers in his career, was a 14x All-Star and 5x World Series champ. I always felt a jolt of adrenaline when Reggie stepped up to the plate and tried to catch that feeling of anticipation as he stepped out of the on deck circle.
