Talk about taking the game by storm! Al Kaline was only 18 when he joined the Tigers and in 1955, as a 20 year old, led the league with a .340 batting average. That year he also becamer the youngest player in history to hit three home runs in one game and two home runs in the same inning. He would play his entire 22 year career in Detroit racking up 3,007 hits and 399 home runs. One of the greatest of all time, Mr. Tiger.
