.179, 1 HR, 6 RBI's & Into Cooperstown

His official line in the MLB record books is laughable. The true greatness of Willard Brown happened in the Negro Leagues in the 1930's and 40's. He was a great pure hitter, hitting for high averages like .374 in 1948. He could also run with blazing speed and many would say he had the most raw power in Negro League history. I really enjoyed painting all the Negro League greats. This one particularly attracted me to the uniform, and maybe I overdid those big powerful hands! The man they called "Home Run".
